Live free or die hard...

Well this is actually my first blog in about 7 months.  Ive been meaning to blog for quite a while but just havent had the umphff to get my butt in gear....For those that have read my previous posts i thank you.  Now im gonna write about a topic which i believe is one that i should have written about when it first came to mind.  Anyways im stalling let me begin.  A lot of people have mixed emotions with regards to the government and how its handling world issues.  I for one think the Bush Administration is a major failure.  If you disagree, well...to each their own.  But there are some personal issues i find disturbing that have risen up since that fateful 9/11 day.  Just a lil insight, yes i am a inside conspiracy believer to 9/11.  I do think it was our government that if not cause, then allowed to happen for the sake of this war that has now cost more than what America would have liked to pay.  Anyways i must proceed....one thing ive recently found myself questioning is "freedom is not free".......you see i think the person that said that had the most to gain out of the battle to come.  For centuries it has always been that by the sword will only peace prevail, but i just dont see it!  Freedom is free....i am free to live as i please and as a result able to die as i please.  Now some people say well you know soldiers are fighting right now for that very freedom youre expressing....i say to them first off, theyre not fighting for me right now, in no way shape of form are terrorists a threat to MY freedom.  A threat to my life, yes....but i am a free man whether they kill me or not, because i CHOOSE to be free.  Second i did not send them to a place in order to build a government for people going through civil unrest.  That was their decision.  Its not Vietnam where if you got the call your ass was goin, NO!  They signed up to go head huntin/freedom fighting/terrorists killing whatever.....maybe they thought they look cute in a uniform....maybe they saw it as a way to see the world...i dont know....im not them.....but for whatever reason they saw it fit to offer themselves to the God of war.  Do i believe they should be over there....no......do i admire their courage for doing what theyre doing...hell yeah....it takes a strong individual to do what theyre doing....but make no mistake theyre not doing it for me....i have this quote....cant remember if i heard something similar and then just put my own twist to it or if i came up with it on a whim but here it goes....Only when you believe that someone must fight for your freedom, are you not free.  Meaning pretty much when you let this idea that freedom isnt free take over you do you offer yourself to the great heard of sheep that believe o yes they do it for me....no....they do it for a man that really shouldnt be in office......they do it for that mans coporate sponsors.......and they do it out of their own reason.  Now people might say, but they defend you...if the US were to be invaded, they would be the ones protecting you....well thats right....but never has the US been invaded by military forces....NEVER.....yes terrorists....but some terrorists have been Americans....and this is the way i see, i live my life according to my will as best possible, i dont need anyone to try to represent the way i feel because damnit i have mood swings and might not feel the same tomorrow.  I dont need anyone to fight for me.  I was born free and by my word i will die free for being free if i have to.  No entity will scare me into believing that i must be taken care of because i cant do so on my own.  To an extent....yes its true i can not defend myself from a missle or some shit along that line, but people wake up....you are free whether someone fights or not, you just have to believe it.
