Someone egged my house last night, also threw big metal piece that cracked window

Around 9pm last night, I heard a big thud in my living room window. I thought maybe it was a dumb bird, that flew into it. But it was an egg. I have no idea who did it. I do have some assumptions, but I'm not too sure if I need to act on it or not. About 2 hours or so later, I heard another thud on the window. This time it was another egg and crack in a window. I found this large metal object on the ground. So, if these people come back again, what should I do. If the people who did it are my age, damn they are childish
