For twenty years now a civil war has been going on in Uganda. The government has been fighting a rebel group called the Lord's Resistance Army led by Joseph Kony, a man who thinks he is God. The majority of the soldiers in the rebel army are abducted children. Most of the kids were kidnapped from their families. These abducted child soldiers engage in rape, murder, kidnappings, cannibalism and torture. Those who refuse to commit these horrors to the children are themselves raped, murdered, tortured and kept as sex slaves. This is a real problem that needs to be stopped.

The war in Uganda is a very touchy subject for me. The war itself has been going on for about twenty years, now. It's kindda funny how the war there only occurs in the north and not the south. The government does not seem to care the LRA's actions. I mean, I don't see the Ugandan government do anything about it. All it does is pushing the subject matter away, promise to take actions and get very fair amount of foreign aids from U.S.
