Early Mornings

Right now, I am writing this from a school computer in my zero period classroom. For those who don't know what this is, it's a class early in the morning before first period. At my school, it starts at 6:30 in the morning. I'm looking around the room and I'm realizing that all of these people are sacrificing a great deal to go to college. This is my AVID class. A group of seniors willing to get up and come to school while it's still dark to apply for college in the prescence of a teacher. It's also amazing how i stopped half way through this blog and apllied for admissions into San Francisco State University. There is not one person in this room who is not working on getting somewhere after high school, and it makes me wonder how many people there are out there willing to do the same thing. I know there are many many people out there trying to pay for college (duh I'm working on this scholarship!) but how many are willing to go into school this early, go to work afterwards, got to their team practice later on that night, go home and then stay up until the early morning finishing up their homework, only to wake up a few hours later to get up and do it all over again, like I've seen many of my classmates do? This kind of effort inspires me, makes me want to work harder, because I see now, there is a lot of competition out there! lol

Haha, yeah. But then I think about it too much, and then I'm all freaked out about how much people really DO do, and then I get all depressed and stressed. So I don't think about it. Happy applying and good luck!

I probably have some homework to do now.
