Brad Pitt has been much more active with social causes lately, and Jon Stewart thinks he knows why.
Pitt was in the news recently speaking out for the plight of Africa, as has Bob Geldof, who is organizing Live 8. Stewart thinks Pitt's new activism should be credited to his romance with Angelina Jolie.
"I think the moral here is clear. If Angelina Jolie is really serious about getting people involved in the struggle for Africa, I think she's gonna have to ---- all of us," said Stewart on the June 9 showing of The Daily Show.
As always, Stewart seems unconcerned about annoying celebrities. Jolie, for her part, has been touchy about what the media says about her relationships. The Toronto Fashion Monitor reported recently that Jolie's public relations staff have threatened the media with legal action should they be nosy about her personal life, and went on to say that Jolie has said that she has never had sex with Pitt.
