According to another yahoo news article, artwork of college students is being banned from the parks and had to be taken back to their campus to be displayed. The reason it was banned was because someone depicted gay sex and had a sculpture of a male penis. I can some what see the reason for this so I am kind of split on this decision.
For moving it back to campus: Some children might see this and will not understand it. Their parents might be the kind of shy parents who do not want to explain sex or sexuality to their children so kids are left confused and might hear un educated information about it from trash mouth kids on the playground.
For keeping it in the park: Kids could be on campus too and might see it! Some parents might be the kind to explain what is going on in these pieces of art. The human body is a beautiful thing when showed tastefully. I was in a photography class when photographic tech was my degree and my professor said we could show nudity and depictions of sex if we did it tastefully. As far as I know, no official has ever stood in anyone’s way of displaying their art in our annual diversity shows, and kids were always on campus because it was a community college and a lot of young adults had children there.
Do any of you have any strong opinions on this, or even split like mine? I would love to hear back from you!

I think art should be displayed anywhere. As you said, human body is a wonderful thing, and we should not be ashamed to show it, if we do it in an educated maner.
Thank you for your coment! I appreciate you reading my blog and your comment. It is great to see that people do still have views and stand up for them :)
I think it the human body is a buatiful thing that people should Charis. Artwork is a way for a person to express them self and show there shills and talent. I don't see what the big deal is.
