I thought maybe since I this is my first blog to start out with something nice and sweet, but my life has been the farthest thing from it lately. A couple years this great movie Mean Girls came out and it was a hit. It was a hit with teens across America because it represented true high school life. It showed that even the bitchiest girl could beQueen Bee if she was hot and rich. But what happens when you cross the queen bee? Even two years after you graduate.
Well I found out the hard way. I made the mistake of dating let's call her Casey's ex-boyfriend. He no longer was he lap dog, and he did not come at her call as he did before. Our relationship was purely emotional since we both were raised strict Southern Baptist, which means not premarital sex. Casey couldn't stand to see him happy with some else so she decided to open her big mouth and tell everyone I was pregnant. After a while she told people I had an abortion after I didn't gain any pregnancy weight. Now I didn't find out about this till 3 months later, via Facebook.
My first instincts where to find her and beat her up, but i took the advice of my friends and didn't because she probably would sue me. The damage was done, when people in my town think you had an abortion they don't look at you the same. I might as have commited to murder. People didn't say hi as often or smile or waveback. So being the immature teen I am I sought revenge.
How you may ask? I did it the all american way via the internet. Casey and I had been somewhat good friends over the years we went to the same parties and did springbreak together. So I posted pictures of her on facebook and myspace making out with other girls, underage drinking, and doing drugs. I also posted pictures of me making out with her current boyfriend.
At first I thought I had taken the highroad by not beating her a$$ but know I know I'm just as petty. The relization I had was Casey could prevented this if she listened to the golden rule. "Treat others like you wanted to be treated"

What she said about you, I mean :)
When I broke up with my first long-term boyfriend, he went around school calling me the biggest slut in school and a bitch
Needless to say, I gained a bad rep for a while
So I know how you feel :)
There is a time to live, and a time to die. But now it the time to break it down!
It's like if I was such a whore or bitch why did you stay with me that long?
rumors! ouch
The relization I had was Casey could prevented this if she listened to the golden rule. "Treat others like you wanted to be treated"
What she did was petty and cruel. I won't argue that. But you could have prevented it, by following Christ's teachings of "turn the other cheek," just as well as she could have by treating others the way she would like to be treated.

"...There is a crushing guilt that comes with being a Catholic. Whether things are good or bad or you're simply... eating tacos in the park, there is always the crushing guilt."

Very good, I agree. And I love the 30 Rock quote
