I don't know about anyone else, but reality T.V. may turn out to be a down fall for us all. It's bad enough that shows like E.T. and TMZ are disguised as the National Enquirer but, why are we exposed with just Too much. OK, it saves Hollywood mega money to let a person make a complete fool out of themselves, no acting classes available on fools 101. As soon as one show pops up, five copies of the same show appear. Britt watch, thats a joke, to exploit someones personal down fall for ratings. Well, Britt is just as bad, because it's a use use situation on both parts.
These shows have literally no content or originality. Anybody can be a start now, but they don't understand that that star won't burn forever. With Jerry Springer, we should have seen it coming. Media has actually turned into a circus, with the world being the center ring.
Some of the shows make sense (game shows) but the rest are pretty much garbage. All you Idol fans, if you have ever worked in the industry, you just lost your job. Record companies don't have to look for you anymore. With Idol, you go look for them, anywhere they want you to go and It's now on your dime. Ratings is all that matters, no matter how foolish the show is.
Go on line and see how many Reality shows are out there that you have never heard of and hopefully, never will. Is the American public being dumbed down? It's very possible. I prefer something that is a little more creative rather than a nanny who comes from another country because we can't take care of our own kids or a rapper who could have won a dog contest and wouldn't have a choice of a women unless he was a rapper!!!!!!
