Leaving Room for exceptions

I believe now that in cases where the woman may die, it is alright to choose abortion.

Oh, how big of you. So women don't deserve death for having sex or being raped, just the burden, expense and health risks of unwanted pregnancy and childbearing.

I still believe that life begins immediately, and that in cases like rape, the child should be kept or put up for adoption. Also, if a woman chooses to be permiscuous with her body and sleep with alot of people, she AND the father should have to take responsibilty and raise the child.

Good for you. But surely you don't think the government should put your beliefs in to law above all others, do you? I don't believe that life begins at conception. I don't believe promiscuous women should have to have unwanted children and raise them with men they may not care for.

I shouldn't have to live by your beliefs, just as you don't have to live by mine.

In my Abortion: the Silent Holocaust post, I was very surprised at how rude some of the comments were! Phrases like 'gag me please' are completely uncalled for!

You know what else is uncalled for? Your judgmental attitude towards women with unwanted pregnancies who are only trying to do the right thing for their health, their families and their lives.

But I understand your positions and I will leave room for exceptions.

Exceptions? You allow one exception.

The reason I am prolife is because my mother is constantly reminding me that she would have been better off aborting me.

What your mom has done to you is sick and twisted.

But even still I believe that, if it was my choice as a fetus, I would always choose life. I love my life, and my mother, despite her flaws.

If you love her, why would you want to use her private parts against her will? It sounds more like you're out to punish all women for your mother's cruelty.
