Well, usually I'm on Livejournal to interact with my friends online. I decided to use this one because I like going to more then one place to meet people, get feedback and enjoy other people.
So perhaps I should introduce myself?
My name is Becca, and I'm a college student for a B.A.S. in Equine Sciences. I own two horses, a boy and a girl, Bob and Kawliga. Kawliga is a animal shelter horse that I acquired as her last chance, while Bob was a gift from a friend of mine. He's an ex police horse and SO well trained. He's smart as could be, and the "old man" of the barn at a whomping 22 years old. Kawliga is 12, and she's the smartest horse, able to open a chain on the round pen, and gradually is figuring our how to open sliding doors. She's too smart for her own good.
I work in a local horse stable that's very much upper-class. We have approximately 52 horses on the facility, and we have to move all these horses out twice a day. It's a hard job, and it's helped me gain so much muscle tone, get more active and feel really good about myself, and lastly, help me figure out what I wanted to do in college.
I live in the mid-west USA with my mother, and I'm engaged to a wonderful man who's natively from Australia. We met over a year ago, and have been a couple since. He went back to Australia after a while of us dating, and is coming home to (hopefully) marry me this November.
What else do I do? I'm an aspiring writer, I got my first novel published in early 2006. I'm also a seamstress who makes costumes and does cosplay. For those of you who aren't into that type of thing... Cosplay is Japanese "Costume Play", where you dress up like characters from Anime, Video Games, Movies, etc. It may seem very strange to hear at first, but it's a nice way of channelin your creativity. I plan on going into business for myself making custom wedding dresses. I love sewing and have since I was young.. a lifelong dream if you will.
What else is there for me to say? I think I'll leave it with I'm a free thinker and watch political issues on television and am very opinionated, so I try to steer clear as much as humanly possible so as not to offend anyone.
Ok stopping there. =P

No need to steer clear. As you'll come to realize over your stay at PU, most of us are also very opinionated (about any and everything) and very vocal with those opinions!
