Another plane crash...

On Wednesday, a twin engine plan crashed, and everybody on board was killed. The plane had five people on it, and they photographing a vintage Soviet jet fighter. The plane crashed northeast of Prescott, Arizona. The vintage Soviet Jet fighter was a MiG, and the plane which was taking photographs was a Piper Cheyenne. After the Cheyenne took off, the pilot was notified that a vapor was coming from the right engine. Yet, he did not think it was a problem. A little ways into the flight the MiG plane thought there might have been a problem with a landing gear door. Therefore, the Cheyenne flew in for a closer look. When the Cheyenne came close to the other plane it flew under the jet and never reappeared. The MiG then radioed saying that there might have been a mid air collision. Yet, there was no sign of damage on the MiG after landing. When they did find the Cheyenne it was crashed and completely burned up. The accident is under investigation. This incident reminded me of the incident in New York not too long ago. I think perhaps small plane pilots need to have more training, and planes should not fly so close together so that there is not such a risk of mid air collisions. Additionally, I think the pilot of the Cheyenne should have taken more warning of the vapor from the engine…

There have been a lot of small plane crashes over the past year or so, I've noticed. I'm not sure what exactly the problem is... the plane themselves, a lack of strict regulations, pilots, etc. Whatever it is, it really needs to be taken seriously. Most of those crashes are just as fatal as when the big passenger planes crash.

I didn't hear about that plane crash. Thanks for keeping us in the know.
