All Seniors are trying to find ways to get to college but sometimes its a difficult process. I know that im working towards getting money for college but right now its so difficult. I've gone through pages and pages of scholarship information and filled out more then my fair share. What is the world coming to if illegal immagriants can get a scholarship but a child with a 4.0 GPA and honors comming out their ears cant seem to get any what are we suspose to do? I maynot have the answers but the big question is why does the goverment do the FASFA forms and only account for what you bring into the house and not what you take out or other special circumstances like a parent being disabled and the money that had been saved had to go to supporting the family or a parent just go a new job and has not been working at it long enough to save a whole lot of money for college? Why can't they see the two car payments and the house payments? Another bone I want to pick is Why do states have scholarships for a certain group but then disqualify almost EVERYONE who might have qualified due to there Residency requirements??? Explain that one to me! I don't see why an illegal Immagrient should be allowed to go into our Colleges or apply for any Scholorships if they cannot even go through the proper channels to be here LEGALLY!!!!!! Im frustrated beyond knowing how to concisely articulate what im feeling but Im hoping that college wont just stay a Dream.

The government has the FASFA forms only take into account your savings because that is really the only well documented thing you can do. I mean, honestly your idea is right. I just don't know how it could be regulated, you know? I mean it's hard to give EVERYONE money. Especially in a time of national debt. Maybe it's just another ploy to control the individual. This gives me some inspiration write a blog :).

Im glad to have given you an idea for a blog ^_^ Maybe we can get some answers to the questions that many people are having about what i mentioned in my blogg
Your stress is legitimate. I too am going crazy finding imaginary money to fund my dual major in September. And while I've basically accepted that I am destined to be a theme restaraunt waitress during my collegiate years, it is tough to find scholarships and the like.
But I feel maybe you're scapegoating illegal immigrants just a little bit. I highly doubt every scholarship you've applied for has gone to someone lacking a greencard or residency status
Good luck in your ventures
