Rove will not be prosecuted, its official. Rove was officially told this Monday of the end of his criminal prosecution. Many believed (and hoped) that the prosecution would find Karl Rove guilty of leaking sensitive information. Although Rove will not be prosecuted, Libby will. The prosecution however will not release any more information about the circumstances of the case, at least right now. Here is an article from the NY Times about the exact details of the case (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/13/washington/13cnd-leak.html?ei=5094&en=e40da3e03155858f&hp=&ex=1150257600&partner=homepage&pagewanted=print)
However even though the court has let Rove off free, Democrats are citing he is guilty and are suggesting that he step down. Howard Dean has said that “Rove has committed a real sin” however it is also known that Dean has said that Rove was the one responsible for Democratic defeat in private according to some news papers (although for the record he states that Republicans stole the election)
On a side note its amazing that the blogsphere hasn’t begun to right about this quite yet, neither the left or the right, not much more is known about the cases exact details however the some info is around about the case against Rove. The prosecution questioned why Rove did not tell he had contact with a member of Time Magazine , this is where he allegedly leaked the information about Valerie Plame. This info is thought to have been released as retaliation for Mr. Plames comments about Iraq’s purchase of Yellow Cake Uranium. Needless to say some are pointing out that the case against Rove has holes in it. The holes include why Rove would have done it himself, if he was indeed so important to the White House, why would he bother to risk his neck when a lesser crony could have? However more of these holes in the story will most likely be released over time.

Rove has not been found "not guilty"--only a judge or a jury can declare a person guilty or not guilty. So there's nothing "official." A grand jury cannot declare the guilt or innocence of anyone. The special prosecutor and grand jury simply has determined that there is not enough evidence with which to charge Rove. That does not mean he didn't do anything wrong.
Did you read the actual article? He will not be investigated any longer, meaning no court. He has been freed, if the prosecution had decided to indeed prosecute then we would go to court.
I was saying that just because the investigation has ceased, Rove is not automatically innocent. Again, the investigation is over because their is not enough evidence. In his letter, Fitzgerald said that he "does not anticipate seeking charges against Karl Rove." He did not file charges because he knew there would not be enough evidence to convict him. A lack of evidence does not mean a lack of guilt.
good. i was alwasy on his side
