The popular brand KLEENEX has been targeted by Greenpeace for its desctruction of ancient rain forests. Already 80% of the worlds original forest have been destroyed to make products that we just throw down the toilet.
Kimerly-Clark the manufactur of Kleenex has ignore enviornmental pushes for them to use more recyled fibers in their products. The result is the loss of thousands of acres of forest that are a vital part of our environment. Destroying the forest not only kills the trees which effect out ozone, it also kills the wildlife that are left without a home.
Kimerly-Clark denies that their is an issue regarding their removal of ancient forest stating that its vital to creating a soft product their customers want. However i think most customers would love to know what they are doing to the environment. The 100% recycled product label for the card board box is not enough.
