It's sad

I find some of the laws within the United States completely saddening.Everyday where I live it seems like you hear about a new rapist or child molester who has been let out of jail and is now living across the street from you. Our schools have to sent out notifcations warning the families " hey there is a person that was just released from jail and he may try and rape your child" basically. Obviously not as bluntly as that. But the problem I see with this is, first off the people who participate in these crimes get off way to easy. Some people will be sentence to life in jail because they were caught with a certain amount of heroine or cocaine. But you can sexually assault someone and only go to jail for three years? Does that seem justified. I also find is strange that when they are released they are put into neighborhoods that have lots of children. It seems very risky to me that something horrible might happen again.

Yeah I hear where you are coming from, I have 5 ranging from 11 to 5mo, I have heard of a punishment that they use in some states, for vicious sex offenders, called chemical castration, personally I wouldn't mind if that method was used a lot more frequently...

They should reverse the law and have the people that do cocaine and heroine go to jail for 3-4 years and the rapists be sentenced for more years...They also need to go to some workshops or do volunteer service and be watched 24/7.
