I would like to know why people feel the absolute need to just jump on me with how my soul needs to be saved and I need to love Jesus NOW. I’m sorry but sadly I am Agnostic and I would also like to know what the hell makes Christianity and Catholicism so damn special. Why are they the biggest? I know the answer though read the works of Jonathan Edwards (especially "sinners at the hands of an angry god). He says some scary shit.

Well Look who is under christians you have the Mormons and the jahovahs witness's who are infamous on how they go door to door. Not to mention i went to church when i was younger and had to listen to how you guys go all over the world to little African countries just to tell them that Thier gods are false and yours is perfect. I was in class with a Sub once and he was talking about going someplace a few years back where he was giving food to little children (which im all for) but then the missionary group he was with came to the kids class rooms to have a lesson about how the kids god is wrong and thier god was right. Now please tell me how your religion in any way is better or more substantially correct then anyone elses. Thats what i really want to know.

That blame probably originates in the fact that most (almost all) christian denominations actively proselytize. When one is not christian (or even just not the "right kind" of christian), the incessant intrusions of those who want to sell you "the good news" about their religion can be both annoying and at times overwhelming. I live in a very religious part of the country, and honestly it is rare for a Saturday to pass that we don't have at least two or three groups from the local churches knocking on our front door to ask us if we "know about Jesus." In the Summer months its even worse, when we get an almost daily barrage of these snake oil salesmen. I really don't mind going to the door, and I always start with a polite "no thank you," but far too often these folks can't seem to let it go, and insist on giving you their sales pitch whether you want to hear it or not. Its obnoxious; its rude; and the practice is rampant (at least here in the Deep South). I'm sure there are other groups that do this kind of stuff, but the sheer numerical superiority of christians in this country make it far more likely that you will encounter more pushy christian proselytizers than all of the other axe-to-grind buttinskies combined.
