Really, they're not. I'm not a Conservative. Well, not totally. I believe in a woman's right to abortion. I don't think it should be used as a form of birth control, but that's a different subject anyway. I think EVERYONE (at or above the age of consent) should have the right to be married, and miserable just like the straight people. And I think that Mr. Clinton's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is the wrong policy. It needs to be changed to "Don't Care."
And I like guns. They're like techno-art pieces. Some (many in fact) are just plain beautiful works of art. Some are ugly as sin, but hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
And the 2nd Amendment IS a personal, not a collective right.
