This morning I found out what I made on my Physics Exam. I made a 82 C miraculous consideing the difficulty of the class. My average however is still a 76.6 D+. This will be the lowest grade I've ever gotten on a report card since Kindergarten. Rite now I'm considering going to beg the teacher for some extra credit to getr me the 78 C I desire. 1.4 points is what seperates me from that C.
I can't help but wonder if I had done my homework properly I would have made a much better grade on the homework and I wouldn't be in this situation rite now. Physics class this year has been quit a trial of my patience considering that last year the physics teacher was so easy that studying wasn't even required for her tests. She would put the formulas up on the board and if you asked her a question she would basically give it to you. This year however the physics teacher is new and trying to make everyones life as difficult as possible. Instead of enjoying my senior year of high school and worrying about collage I'm stuck staying up all hours of the night finishing physics projects, homework, and studying for impossible tests. I wish that I hadn't taken physics but it's required for LSU, my dream school.
All I can hope is that I can convince her to allow me to do something for that 1.4 points.

That is a bizarre curve... since when is a 76.6 a D+?
Physics is a tough course... but if you keep working at it, and you stick it out, it'll be worth it. Talk to your teacher, and go in for extra help to show you are making an effort. You can do it! Good luck.
I thought the same thing engkatiemarie. A 76.6 with be C for me. Hopefully you can make it work out for you. I'm pretty glad that most of my professors give extra credit but I know there are some teachers who absolutely refuse. I've never taking Physics but I remember the way some of my friends used to complain about it. Best of luck to you.
