I just want to take a few minutes to say thank you. " Thank you so much for protecting me, my friends, my family and our country. Thank you for fighting for people you have never met and probably will never meet. I know that what you do takes a lot of hard work and dedication. You have to follow orders without thinking twice about them. You know that what you do might require you to kill someone. You go through a lot more in a few months than I probably ever will. You see so many bad things that you will probably never forget. I know it must be hard to leave your family, friends, loved ones, and lives to go fight. But I also know that even though it is hard to do, you still find a way to make it work. You amaze me. Everything you do is for someone else. If you go to Iraq or any other nation we are fighting, you know that you have to shoot the other guy because you know that he's going to shoot you if you don't shoot him first. The only difference between him and you is that he probably won't hesitate to shoot you.
Thank you for everything you do, have done, or will do. You will never truly know how much it means to me. I don't agree with us still being in Iraq, but those of you who are there or are going there...you have my full support and faith.
