listening to the radio today apparently a disneyland employee dressed as Tigger got into a confrontation with a child and actually hit the child. The kids father has the confrontaion on tape acording to the news.....
I would pay $100.00 to see that!
I don't know what to think... Tigger was always the happy friendly sort of charicter to me (grandted i know he's not real, but my point still stands) now hes caught beating kids?!? lol.... YIKES!
Wonder what sort of reprocusions will follow that sort of behavior? Maybe some serious anger management??? if you are angry enough to smack a small child you need help... dealing with kids is apart of the teritory when you decide you want to work at DISNEY LAND! good grief!

It wasn't a small child, it was a teenager, or at least a kid over 12, I was watching it on the news, he didn't out right punch him or anything, just smacked him.
Even people in costumes can't be friendly anymore =(
ahh from what the radio said it was just a kid.
This incident is shamefully out of character for Tigger. Everybody knows the real Tigger would never slap a child. If this dude knew anything about the character he was hired to represent he would have drop kicked the little shit to the floor and stomped him two foot style before feeding his bloody remains to his fat friend Pooh.
I saw part of the video on the news & to me it looked like the 2 of them were just horsing around pushing and wrestling a little for the camera & Tigger kind of whacked the kid with his oversized paw/mitt/hand. The kid looked like he was pushing, arm twisting the costumed Tigger-person. It didn't look like any big thing to me, if it were my kid I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it. This day & age with cameras EVERYWHERE there is opportunity for a higher level of scrutiny for everyone's actions.
If the kid was really smacked by, tigger, he would probably not want to go to Disneyland again, because he will think that other animals will smack him. As for the employee, he should know better.
Hi there! I work for DisneyWorld and I was there when the incident happened. Please know that Tigger is my good friend and one of the nicest guys I know. That "kid" who was as tall as Tigger was pulling on his costume and choking poor Tigger. He didn't mean to hit the kid--you can see in the video that he wasn't even looking at him. Of course he didn't mean to. I hate for people to think such bad things so fast about Disney. This was a terrible thing to happen--but was was completely a mistake.
