Not typical Illini basketball

Anyone who has watched Illinois basketball knows that Illinois is known for playing under control, not turning the ball over, playing solid defense, executing in crunch time, and not being intimidated.

BS, last night was BS and the players need to be utterly embarrassed at what happened on the court. Maryland wanted it more than us as a team and that doesn't happen to an Illinois team. Weren't some of these players around when we came back on Arizona from 15 down? I think so yes.

Warren Carter admits that he was not aggressive in the 2nd Half, are you kidding? What the flip is this all about? I'm not gonna name names, but there were a couple of players pointing fingers at their teammates during the game and not taking credit for their own mistakes and this also is not Illinois basketball.

What happened to the pride of the Illini? I didn't see it last night, I saw Illinois scrambling to stay in the game. I saw Illinois HAVING TO USE A TIMEOUT AT THE START OF THE 2ND HALF, "F" THIS $HIT, R U SERIOUS? I am unpleased by the way this team is acting, my gosh, do you see what is going to happen the rest of the season if these things do not get corrected?

I understand Randle and Smith are out of the game, I know this, but their was enough collected talent out there to not make these mistakes. The mistakes are what is most bothersome, and YES WE DO NEED TO RECRUIT BETTER!!!!!!!!! I HAVEN'T BEEN SAYING THIS BUT OUR PLAYERS ARE LACKING ATHLETIC ABILITY. I KNOW FRAZIER IS A SOPHOMORE AND HE IS GOING TO IMPROVE. CARWELL is going to be a good player, does he remind anyone of ERICK DAMPEER? A little bit? Maybe, maybe not.

I know what you mean. I started watching the Illini maybe 4 years ago and I loved how thay play ball and lateley they've just not been themselves. I think Bruce Webber may be lossing his touch! I'm glad somebody other then me agrees!
