I think its about time scientists stand up for what they believe in. I've heard countless interviews in which a scientist has said that the vast majority of the scientific community doesn't believe in intelligent design - or does believe in global warming - but for the first time it seems like they have taken a proactive approach. Instead of reacting to arguments they disagree with they have become offensive by presenting arguments of their own and a way to get their message out to the people. Scientists of the world, my thinking cap is off to you.
What is the big deal about teaching evolution in schools. It's a theory which means that it doesn't have to be true nor do you have to beleive it. I took AP Bio last year and learned a great deal about it. It was very interesting to learn about. Why should people who feel that it goes against their religion have the right to say what is or isn't taught to their children. is it suddenly going to make them question their beliefs because if it is then they did not do a good just instilling their beliefs into thier children.
