Immigration

Okay, so the government wants to put a stop to immigration and kick everyone out that is here illegally. I do not think that is fair. I think those who have been living here should be allowed to have the chance to become legal residents and pay back any taxes they owe. America has prided itself on being a free country and a land of immigrants, but now they want to quick all the immigrants out and not let any more in? The immigrants, rather legal or illegal, work hard for the money they earn, and aren't trying to take jobs away from Americans. Most of the jobs they have are jobs Americans don't really want to do. I know we have a lot of immigrants here, but kicking everyone out is not how we should handle it. We should give them the choice to either become a legal immigrant or move back to where they came from, and offer more ways for immigrants to legally come here, like work visas and things like that.
