As some of you may know, I'm a senior this year. I live in a small town in Ohio. Nothing ever happens here. Ever. Well yesterday there was a bomb threat found in the boys bathroom on the second floor of my high school. So in the middle of 4th period they sounded the fire drill. We thought it was just another practice drill as usual. But this time it was different....the administration staff were out of the building, the teachers were making us get completely off the side walk and off of the hill where we usually stand. And the teachers usually know when there is a planned fire drill and no one knew anything about it. Then we saw the fire marshall, fire truck, and about 4 police cars. Then the teachers had us all gather in the farthest corner of the parking lot to tell us there was a bomb threat and that we were walking down the street to a church. Kinda ironic with the separation of church and state.
Well we went to the church. Small church. Whole school, staff included. About six or seven hundred people. I'm clausterphobic. I wasn't doing too great in there. I was ok with the idea of watching my school blow up, not saying I did it. But I was not ok with the crowded space I was in. So I ended up calling my mom and telling her what was going on and she asked if I was ok. I told her I wasn't. She came and picked me up from the church and I left. Now this morning there was another threat saying the bomb would be here today. We are still in the building. Only difference is there are police and dogs.
