A question a few decades ago could have been answered with a simple, no. In these last few years, females have been stepping into role normally dominated by males. In sports this has created a lot of controversy. Courts around the world have been trying to figure out a solution to females in sports that are fair to everyone like females playing football and girls and boys playing on the same high school baseball team. With the addition of WNBA a female profession basketball league and other female professionally leagues has been a solution, but still even these league are not equal to that of a male league This issue is not limited to sport, female presence in career like business, engineering, law enforcement, and politics has dramatically increase. In these careers females feel like they have to hide the femininity to be taken serious. Although we try as a people to promote equality still females are being passed over for promotion they desire. I believe if we continue to progress, they might even be a chance for a women president. This is my opinion, now what is you opinion on this issue?

I don't think enough is being done to bring true equality between the sexes. Professional women in this country only make 75 cents to a mans dollar! Women are more likely to get overlooked for promotions especially if their married with children whereas men are more likely to get promoted if their married with children! The reason is its thought that women have to many things going on in the home to be dedicated to work, whereas men being the "Breadwinners" need a promotion to provide for their families. Women have got to come together and more men like myself need to stand up and fight with them for their cause!
Women can not do everything that men can do. We are not as strong (although some women are stronger than some men, there will always be a stronger man out there). In other countries, women need a man with them all the time, and I'm sure that is true in parts of America. Woman was created as a partner for man so that they could keep each other company, and men were to be the providers. Women are not of a lower class than men, they are just different.

Well then if woman were created as a partner for men, so that they could keep each other company. I mean they were both created for one another right? so why not say that instead of undermining your sex.
I think woman can do as much as a man, its possible, sometimes even more. Just because this country is ruled by egotistic macho males doesnt mean that we have to be undermined. I mean woman created men, day in and day out, so whos not to say that we are better at things than them or at least equal.
*If it wasnt for woman's hate, jealousy, and envy towards one another, we would have men in the palm of our hands. Woman presidents and everything. We are smart, manipulative and can be independent. Instead of us sticking together and uniting we would be untop of this world. But nature has to take in because the majority of woman are like that For ex. you see a girl with nice boots and instead of saying, "oh girl, i love your boots were did you get them?" what do we say, "Eww, those boots are ugly!" or you just look at her and hate on her for them, right? STICK TOGETHER.*
I disagree with every woman needs a man, what about a lesbian couple?
Me and my girl sometimes need someone stronger (like a man perhaps) to help us out with carrying for example, but we end up doing it. becasue we can, so how does that increase the need for us woman and a man?

Women are not as equal as men. We aren't as strong. And we have kids (besides that I can't find anything else unequal) But though I think that we should be equal, in all truth, I'd rather be saved by a male firefighter, than a women. Anyone else feel this way?
Honestly I think girls are better at most things than men, excepting hard physical labor. For example in politics, though heavily male dominated in the United States, womne could do a much better job. Women have better people skills and are generally more perceptive than males which makes them better at alot of things. I know that this may seem like reverse sexism but in my experience I have found this to be true.
This is a stupid debate. Women and men are just different. Some things men are better at and some things women are better at; but even that statement is dumb. Each person should be evaluated at a personal level rather than with any type of sweeping generalization.
Some women choose to value family over career and thus they make less. Some men make that exact same decision (although in much fewer numbers). Some men sacrifice family for their career and end up divorced, broke from alimony, and depressed. There is no clear way to define "equality" when so many things are not comparable.
However I will say that people should not ignore evidence of discrimination, whether it be against a particular sex or race. But again, everything should be looked at individually. Not every time a woman is passed over for a promotion is a case of sexism, and let me remind the feminists out there that equality is a double-edged sword.
Didnt the Female gender rule in the Amazons? And Men were slaves?
"I'd rather be saved by a male firefighter, than a women."
I don't understand why anyone would take this view. Personally, if I'm trapped in a burning building, and a female comes in to save me, the first thought running through my head isn't "Oh she isn't going to be strong enough to help me" it would be "thank God someone is here to save me."
I think though, that questions like these promote a creation of a line between males and females in the first place. First of all, the name of the blog questions whether or not women can do what men do. Why is it not the other way around? This in itself only promotes the notion that women can't do what men can do. Instead, let's stop worrying about whether or not women can equal up to men, and worry about bettering ourselves personally, without comparison to the other gender.
as a lifelong male... and someone who grew up in a house of 4 women, i can say, with much authority i think, that women own men on almost every level. pain tolerence, empathy, work ethic, intelligence, beauty, instinct, everything. the fact that women ask men to move big things and open jars is proof enough. honestly, as a man ill be happy to open the jar or move the desk, just to promote my own masculinity. it gets done with little or no effort from her. but we all know damn well that the desk is getting moved and the jar is opened whether im there or not. people think that women need the opportunity to succeed in male dominated feilds, and i agree. i just dont understand why they would want to. men do some pretty evil stuff in the name of money. Men see the world as dog eat dog. and male dominated feilds reflect this attitude in structure and behavior. This is why so many teachers and health care workers are women. they know that thw world is as dog eat dog as we make it and many chose to help, nurture and create than compete, denegrade and dystroy. it almost makes me sad to to women don shoulderpads and behave aggressivley in markets. everyone wants to know why more women arent in congress. not many women tried. no one wants to know why there arent more male nurses or teachers.

It would be funny if you were not a life long male...but after reading your post, I'm starting to think you aren't.
Yea theres a female president possibility and the first running candidate should be, do i even need to say it, you should already know. Hilary Clinton
Ignoring what you wrote, women are evidently different from men both physically and mentally. So no, women can't do everything men can do. Get over it.
Girls can do what guys can do faster, easier, and look fabulous doing it!
They'e both different, do things differently, and do some things better. What is comes down to is what they actually do and who they actually are, not what their gender is.
