The Perfect Diet

Every body is always looking for the "perfect diet" the fastest and best way for them to lose inches and drop pounds. I don't know of the fastest way, but I do know of the best and long lasting way to lose weight and fell healthier.

There are many simple things that one may do that can help lose pounds over a year. One very simple way is to stop drinking soda. Replace soda with water or if that is hard try only one diet soda and the rest is water. Two cans of soda can equal 300 calories. If you can take 300 calories off your daily diet you can lose up to 20 lbs in a year.

Always eat breakfast. When you eat you wake up your body and tell it to start working

Don't graze. You can easily eat 600 calories of cereal straight from the box. Make eating mean something. Always put it on a platter or in a bowel. Sit down and ENJOY it. Know what you are eating.

Eat a portion and wait for 15 minutes. Give you're stomach time to tell your brain that you have had enough.

Cardio exercising means nothing if you do it for less than 30 minutes. Try to exercise at least 3 times a week.

Before you eat drink a glass of water so that you are hydrated. Sometimes we miss read thirst with hunger.

Those are some easy tips that will help everybody towards better living and healthier weight. Living in an obese nation I think that these tips are incredibly important. They will also help you enjoy eating again and live a healthier life.

Actually, while cutting calories is one way to lose weight, cutting them doesn't necessarily mean you will lose the weight. It just means you won't gain the weight (and you'll be healthier if you cut simple sugars like sodas from your diet anyway).

Weight shouldn't matter anyway. It should be the makeup of your body that matters. My boyfriend used to weigh like 220 lbs (I'm not sure what he weighs now). For his height, that's supposedly not a good weight. But the fact that my boyfriend spent at least a half an hour a day exercising and most of that weight was muscle means that he wasn't unhealthy, by any means. You can sit around on the couch all day and lose weight, simply because you are losing muscle mass and gaining it as fat, which weighs less. So what you're really trying to do by exercising is get more muscle so that you have a faster metabolism, so you burn off all that fat stored in adipose cells.

The diet tips I gave lead for more healthy living. It's something anyone and I would say everypne (but that always gets me in trouble) should do. Taking time to enjoy meals and have healthy habits are great things. I mentioned Calories because that's what people are hung up on. But honestly these are lifestyle changes that lead towards healthy living.

i myself am trying very hard to gain wiegh. In a country where i read story after story on the obesity of the masses and million dollar law suits against fast food chains i am try to gain wiegh.
it's very difficult when portion sizes are shrinking and fasts are being sucked out of everything
in my town i cannot even find a store where i can purchase milk that is anything other then FAT FREE
the simplicity i am told is to consume more calories then i discharge but oh brother is this tough.
when the cost of food keeps CLAIMING
does any one have any suggestions for gaining
i have lost 40 pounds and 6 months leaveing me at 105 and 5'1

I never said anything about fat free. In fact drinking AT LEAST one glass of whole milk a day is healthier and it actually helps people maintain a healthier weight Researchers are still confused as to why. The tips I gave are about healthy lifestyle eating. My younger sister is also a stick so I undertsand that. However, the portions in America ARE ridiculous and should be smaller. If you eat healthy, like my tips above, then you will weigh the amount you're supposed to. I never said eat low fat stuff, because frankly those don't curb the cravings.

you do have to stop eating a lot and eat healthy, but remember eercise is always needed. Just at home you don't even need to go to the gym.
