Yes you heard me right, Al Qaeda does not exist. The only reason Osama Referred to his organization as Al-Qaeda is because the bush administration gave Osama's terrorist cell that name. It has never existed, its just a false coined term for loose knit terror cells that were originally guided by Pakistan's ISI, British's MI-6, the saudis, and the CIA. Not only that but the CIA funded "Al-Qaeda" from 1989-1992 with just about 6 billion dollars so they can fight off the Soviet Union, giving the Soviets their own "Vietnam". As a result of the Afghan War, the Soviet Union's economy deteriorated and their republic collapsed.
According to some people, "Al Qaeda" supposedly translated into "the base". Well did you know that "Ana raicha Al Qaeda" is an Arabic colloquial for "I'm going to the toilet". Now why would hardcore terrorists determined to destroy the infidels call themselves after a euphemism for taking a crap? But also according to former house of commons Robin Cook:

I only find 2 problems with this comment, firstly there were no WMDs, the US did provide Sadaam with artilery and put him in power though, and secondly, this post is about Afganistan not Iraq so Sadaam and the WMDs have nothing to do with it
However, the point I think was that they were all helped by the U.S. government (excuse my grammer).
