College Admissions are less Stressful then Scholarship Admissions

Well welcome to my first blog ever on ProgressiveU.org Anyways heading on to my blogging about College Admissions. I know that many of you may be applying to colleges or universities and may know what it feels to stress about what one may want to know or what will make one stand out in ones applications. I know that I have been stressing out about scholarships, since it is one of my major opportunity to obtain cash to pay for my University expenses. I have been googling and researching through the internet, where I can obtain information about applying to a scholarship. I can just go to a community college and not have to pay as much as what I need for my private university of choice for my major intended.Though, I want to succeed in life and experience a broader knowledge in my career of choice. Tis why I have decided on considering to go to a private institute. Anyways, I feel that college admissions are not as hard as applying for a scholarship. I feel that in a scholarship you need to be more creative then in writing for a college/university application. The odds of being accepted to a college/university are a ratio of about 25:1. While winning a scholarship the ratio would be 150:1. For every applicant received for a scholarship, only one out of 150 applicants will stand out to the judges eyes. They are giving out money, while universities/colleges are giving out a future to your life. Though, I do believe at times that both balance out the same. I just feel that scholarships are more stressful. Many of you will disagree, which I am aware and am fine with that, everyone has different opposes to this subject/matter. Be aware that every statistic format said by me are not true literally, but just an estimate or clue towards what I may mean. Well here I go off heading to approach and search for a scholarship that I may benefit from. Stressing my cause for a brighter future with income help/need.

I've been searching for scholarships for a while now, and I have entered many of them; I still have yet to win any money. Good luck with finding money =]
Also let me know if you find any good ones to enter.
BTW, this web site is an great way to win scholarship money.

After getting accepted to a University, check out what kinds of scholarships the University offers.

My school offered me more than half tuition just for having decent grades in high school and writing a <1 page essay.

The University itself is probably the best place to find financial aid and scholarships.

Good luck!

My advice: Make yourself stand out. Somewhere on your application is room for creativity, whether it's on a resume, personal statement, or even list of experiences. There's always room to show others a new, different way to look at things that will help them to realize your potential.
