Senior year.....ultimately the best thing in a high schooler's career. There is prom and senior activities, but once all of that starts to wear off...we have to start thinking about college applications and scholarships, loans, grants, etc. Most of us need that extra help and puch economically speaking. But hasn't anyone noticed the usual requirements for eligibility on scholarships and such? Okay for those out there who haven't here is a general overview, in the beginning they will ask you for personal information name, school, address, etc, they will ask your hobbies and your talents...I am good until I get there. The following part is very common in all scholarships, they will ask for leadership positions, sport involvments, extracurriculars. This is a difficult one and it is hard for me and many of us because not all of us had opportunities to be a part of extracurriculars due to transportations and family situations and many of them require us to be 18...HELLO not all of us are 18 year old seniors. Sometimes they wont even pay that much attention to our grades because they want to see involvements....Please give the rest of us a chance...ITS COLLEGE we need educated people in society. Dont let financial reasons be the cause of us not getting a college eduaction
