Just some of the headlines etched into my memory. As I think of these events that are happening it leaves me to wonder, where is the outrage? Where is the real desire for change? Not the Clinton or Obama type of change, but a real desire for this society, this lifetime, this earth that we're all sharing to be a little simpler. A little less frightening. Are we here in the U.S. just stuck on auto-pilot? Are we that desensitized? Could we be over-medicated and in a stupor? Could it be that we're afraid to show compassion, fear, outrage, disgust? After all this is the land of the "free" and home of the "brave". How would it look for us to admit that the world is out of control, even here in the most powerful country on the planet. I tried to imagine the world that my newborn daughter would inherit. For the life of me I couldn't get a clear picture. Where is the world headed from this point in time?
