Taylor Hicks Won American Idol!
More than 63 million votes were cast for the singing showdown, host Ryan Seacrest announced. The two-hour finale of the mega-hit Fox show was filled with duets between "Idol" finalists and stars such as Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton and Meatloaf.
I watched part of the finale. Thyey showed some of Hicks' fans from his hometown. There were little kids that sprayed their hair gray and were buzzing on harmonicas. It was so cute. I am glad he won, he is a really good singer and he's funny. And its not like the other girl wont release an album anyway.
