can you really like american idol this much. Dont get me wrong when i have the time i tune in, but this is crazy! i guess its kind of like how much i like greys anatomy!

What I don't get is now you can practlcally fall in love with everyone (and come on, Sundance? He was terrible!) and still misspell your favorites' names.

Isn't his name Sanjaya? Yesterday's was my favorite episode btw. I lived to see Sanjaya go home.

I feel so sorry for him. He's a 17 year old kid... and yet people hated him to the point of going on supposed hunger/bathing strikes? I hope he goes on to sale millions as a middle finger tribute to the bathing/hunger strike idiots. Poor kid is likely to be scarred for life.

Oh, he will be as famous as William Hung once was. You don't have to worry though. From the looks of it, the poor kid does live in his own universe and has no sense of shame at all. Trust me, he won't be scarred for life.

yeah it was sanjaya, and he could not sing AT ALL. He was a national joke and was only around because people were voting for the worst, which was clearly him.
I don't see how American Idol is progressive at all. Am I missing something?
