Come to find out the driver going 90 mph on a 45 mph road that hit my friends car from behind was under the influence and not wearing a seatbelt but thats not the surprise.
4 years ago he killed a 20 year old girl while he was drinking and driving and the jury threw the charges out so he was never punished.
Two nights ago he took another innocent childs life and is finally being charged with vehicular homicide.
How can somebody not be charged for taking one life? I guess thats just the way a jury works. Unfortunately because he was not punished and sentenced to jail the first time he did it again except this time it was to one of my friends.
The only way this ugly man could feel sorrow for killing someone is if it was someone close to him. I just thought this blog would surprise many readers with the recent news. Even though he may have done wrong he can still ask God for forgiveness but that is all up to him.
That is awful. I read the first blog and I am sorry about your friend Brian. When you are drunk you don't care some people at least. This is awful. Maybe there was not enough evidence the first time. That is what a jury has to go on. I watch fornesic files and those type of shows quite a bit so I am starting to understand how it works.
If half of the jury is hung and they don't agree then the trial is considered a mistrial. I am glad that this man is getting what he deserves. I hope he gets life in prision. As much as I hate to say that I believe it. He can't hurt anyone else if he is locked up.
This is sad and good news at the same time. Again I am sorry for your loss. My cousin was shot by his uncle and recieved 2 years in prision. He is free now. I think justice is hard to come by, but one day karma will come back to haunt you.
