Healthcare

I think everyone using ProgressiveU is American so I won't be hesitant to say, you know the price of healthcare. It is outrageous right? That isn't a question, it is a fact that it is expensive, the question is; what should be done about it? Some people, like Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama think that the government should pay for everyones healthcare. You also have people like John McCain who think that it isn't fair, but they don't have a solution. Since this is one of the biggest topics in the upcoming elections, I think it is a great thing to blog about. I personally cannot stand behind Barack or Hillary in this situation, because their plan can only put our family farther into destruction. Canadians come to the US for healthcare because our set up is far more efficient than it is Canada, which is how our to democratic nominees will set it up. Another issue with that form of healthcare is that, healthy people will be paying for unhealthy people. And I don't just mean people who have some genetic disorder, but smokers who chose to give themselves lung cancer, you're paying for that. Or alcoholics who need a liver transplany, you'll pay for that too. And heroin addicts who need to go to methodone clinics, which is really expensive, you will pay for that too. The fact is, that you will be paying for people who don't care about themselves enough to keep themselves healthy. So what should be done about healthcare, who knows....but I think it is obvious what shouldn't be done!
