Hey Everybody,
Here's the scoop for the Global Night Commute on April 29th, 2006. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about check out Invisiblechildren.com) If however you do know what I'm talking about and are interrested in going:
MEET AT CHAPEL POINTE @ 3pm on SATURDAY we will be walking from there to Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids. We'll be spending the night (rain or shine) there in the city. Over 700 people are signed up and you should also really sign up on the website (www.invisiblechildren.com). ALSO, we will be getting rides back to the church on Sunday (dont worry we aren't walking back).
BRING: sleeping back, back pack w/ necessary items (toilet paper, WATER, WATER, WATER!!!, and snacks, flashlight, poncho, umbrella, etc) or whatever you feel you need. REMEMBER YOU ARE CARRYING IT!!!! I suggest bringing a pack of cards or something to that effect. We are going to be meeting a ton of new people SO BE CLIQUE BUSTERS GUYS!!! :) And some good news....we had about 22 kids after school today to watch the movie and some more people are coming Wednesday night for another showing. AND CHANNEL ONE DID A STORY ABOUT IT TODAY!!!! Its bigger than we all thought and I am really super excited you guys are getting involved and making a difference in a world that needs it desperately. SO 3PM SATURDAY RAIN OR SHINE!!!! Invite your friends and talk it up to people!

OMG!! YOU WATCHED IT TOO!!? It's a great documentary, the invisible children. I wish I could come to the event. I can't make it because I have to study for my AP test.
