Gender Equality

My last blog post talked about the lack of attention female sports get, now this post will talk about the lack of pay between women and men. Why are women’s coaches getting equal pay as similar to the men’s? There’s not even equal pay in the 21st century, and that’s a shame. When a person is good, that person is good. Quit putting gender inequality into everything. Regardless of profession, I believe men and women should receive equal pay in their respective fields, when they are doing the same type of jobs and responsibilities. I do not have statistics on the pay across professions between men and women, but I know it is not equal. Women deserve to get paid the same about as their male counterpart. Just because they are females does not stop them from deserving the same respect that males get. In fact, gender equality needs to spread all over the world. Please, click here for other topics.
