My little brother "the little man"

So I was thinking about what I should write, and I couldn't think of anything until now.  As I was getting money out of my wallet, I saw the picture that I carry of my brother.  He is six years old, going on seven in two months, and he can be a handful at times.  Let's see, when my mom gave birth to him, I was ten years old, he was born with one functioning kidney, my mom was going back to school to get her LVN degree.  Well, since I didn't do much I took care of him and my sister most of the time when she was at school (my dad was in another state for work).  After all that time we spent together, we became extremely close, he got older of course but he started looking up to me.  Everything I did, he wanted to do the same even though he was too small to be doing some of the things.  My parents got a divorce not too long after that, so now I had more responsibilities to take care of, with my little brother trying to help me every step of the way.  Well, we're stay close but then I started working, he didn't take that too well.  Everytime I'm home, there he is like chiclet to me, stuck to my side.  The good thing is that when I am not home he tries to fill in for me, like taking out the trash, or cleaning up the house sometimes.  He does his best to be like me, he even wants to work at the same place I do.  When he told me that, I asked him "Why?", he responded "So I can be like you, and we could work together". I thought that was so cute, he also wants to enlist the Marines, because I plan on enlisting in the Marines also.  When I am home, however I try to spend as much time with him as possible.  We play sports together, unfortunately he can't play on a real team for contact sports because of his kidney, but I just make sure that we are careful, we also spend plenty of time playing video games.  I love my little brother, and I've never had anyone look up to me as much as he does, I only hope that I am a good enough role model for him.
