...And a lot more of the things you said are forms of women's oppression! Why do women have to care for housework? The partner of the household should take part in daily chores because they live in the home too and share the responsiblity of the maintainance of the home.
Women seem to have to act proper and cannot show anger/frustruation within this society. At the slightest bit of anger she can be labeled as a B****, and will be looked at funny. But if a man shows anger his anger is understood to people as common, and natural for the simple fact that he is a man.
When a women sleeps around her names are derrogatory (loose, S**T, H0*,Bi**h,H0R...). When a man sleeps with many women his names are not degrading (notice that they can be written easily--without desensitizing): jock, pimp, man-ho*, playa, hottie....
Women need to step up for themselves and become informed upon the ways they are oppressed because it puts the gender at unfair and unnecessary disadvantages.
As a woman, I don't feel sorry for myself.
There is no power in complaining about biology. It is what it is.
But what will you do about social injustice?
You can complain about it. But nothing is going to change if you blame "the other side." If there's one thing that has hindered the progress of feminism, it is the people who work not with but against men. They may have some advantages, but they're certainly not the enemy. They're oppressed to some degree as well.

You want to be a man to be a bigamist, or just a cheating asshole?
You 3want to be a man because you want to be recognized as a playa whether you are or not just so that girls will talk to you, because the saying is true, nice guys really do finish last.
You want to be a man so that your parents can be "disappointed" in you for a million reasons; not earning enough; not having the perfect respectable job; walking away from the girl that deliberately got pregnant to trap you into marriage.
You want to be a man so that you can become selfless after you have kids and work every hour of the day to provide for them because your wife thinks that her place is in the home even though your kids are now teenagers and perfectly capable of looking after themselves for a few hours a day between school and when she would get home from work.
You don't sound like you are proud to be a woman, it sounds like you are quite resentful of men. What I have just written as a reply is of course quite ludicrous, but no more so than your original post. Try seeing the other side of the coin and understand that it isn't a bed of roses either.

It's scary how a man and a woman have totally different perspectives about their lives and they can't see how they meet. Both sides of the 'coin' has its bad portions but then again what about the good side to being a woman - the power of knowing you carry a baby in you and its your responsibltiy to protect that baby for the future. Men also have power because of their own 'manliness' as you would say. They have the strength to endure and hold up while some women may but the man will. It may be sexist but we were all put here for a reason and given our 'aches and pains' for a reason.

Indeed there are many wonderful things about being a woman, as there are about being a man. I personally don't understand how so many people can only see the perceived advantages that the opposite sex has. Being resentful of the things you can't do because of biology makes no sense, for example I can never bare children of my own, but I have the joy of having two wonderful daughters. The wonderful thins in life far out weight the bad.

Women get the short end of the stick. We have periods, cramps, and mood swings. We have to go have the kids, or deal with the question of abortion. If we gain three pounds men (and other catty woman) will notice and comment to their friends, whereas women usually go a lot easier on men.
Society expects women to act a certain way, and judges them if they don't. Men don't feel this pressure, as "boys will be boys".
And the sex issue. Men can have sex with whoever they want, whenever they want. Woman have to appear pure and virtuous. Its wrong, and double standards are still all over the place, I guess some people just don't see them.
The way you have people perceive you is the difference. You if feel like those 3 extra pounds are making you seem fat people will notice. Other people are into their own lives to much to notice other people's problems. Woman can have sex with whomever too, but its about the way they have people perceive them doing it, if the woman thinks she is being a slut then she will seem a slut to others. I don't think women have ti harder then men because women have excuses too; "She just gave an extrememly bitching remark - she MUST be on her period." "She can eat that chocolate because it's her time of the month." and many more. Yes society determines how women acts but who is society - not just men but women as well. SO its women opposing their ideals on other women, men usually don't give two farts.

This post is kind of being sexist against your own gender. Weird. Some of the stuff you said are things we can't change, but some of them were just notions people have. By saying you wish you were a man to escape those notions, you're giving people a reason to believe them. Don't do that. Thanks.
It would be nice if they actually believe me. What would that do to people I wonder? Would they want to change their sex as well? I think it's rather interesting to see someone wishing to be the opposite sex. I'm not a great writer, so I wanted to try something that is easier to read. lol My objective was to piss some people off or at least have someone in disagreement with me. Thank you for all your responses. I'm one of those people who like to go opposite of others for the sake of debate, even if I don't agree with what I'm saying. hehe.
interesting post. YOu give good reasons to be a man--its alot easier to not menstrate every month and you have less to worry abut. But there's also several reasons that wuld make you a jerk, a shame of a man. A man is supposed to be responsible as a woman and do equal share. A man also has to a strong mentality to put up with crap from others without resorting to violence and has to be physically fit to be accepted as a real man.
