The power of the media is interesting. I wonder if Disney does put subliminal messages, as Da Vinci Code (for instance) suggests. There is also a little controversy about gender roles in some of the earlier animation films (eg. The Little Mermaid, Aladdin).
I've heard about several "hidden bonuses" in Disney movies throughout the years. For example, in the movie "The Rescuers" there is a photo of a nude woman hanging on the wall, a man has an erection "The Little Mermaid", and the work sex is spelled out in the stars in "The Lion King".
Even though Disney can be a little perverted here and there, it still rocks.
1. Didn't know about the Rescuer's one
2. In the Little Mermaid, its the priest at the end who supposedly has an erection
3. The letters "SFX" are spelled out in the sky in Lion King, meaning "Special Efects"
