Last year, I never heard of blogging. Now that I know of it, I think it is great. There are a lot of benefits to blogging and my list of blogging benefits may be different than yours, but I think we all can agree on some of them.
My list of the benefits of blogging:
1) When I am having a bad day, I can type it all out.
2)To share current events, and read other's posts about current events.
3)To share what is going on in my life and the life of my family with friends and family members who are miles away.
4)I am able to post on topics that are dear to my heart, and read other's people's blogs about topics that are dear to my heart.
Blogging can be very informative, and in some aspects, very therapeutic. And I really believe blogging is here to stay. So keep blogging away, I love to blog and love to read a lot of blogs on here.

Blogging gives you a lot of time to reflect within yourself and hear the opinions of others while working out tension from life.
Welcome to the world of blogging. An article about blogging that I recommend is: http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110009409. It is very informative and interesting, but remember to read everything objectively. Blogging is here for you first and foremost, however there just might be an underlying reason and purpose for which you blog. Maybe there is a responsibility you feel you must fulfill through blogging. At any rate I have become quite addicted and sharing my thoughts is one of my favorite pastimes. Enjoy blogging!
- Challenge yourself everyday, if you don't then it is a wasted day.

txmomof3, i have to agree with you that blogging is good. and to get it straight, if i feel like i am going to have a bad day or feel a bit of bored or depression get the hold of me, i log on to either this site, myspace, or blogger.com and go blog crazy. in other words for me "blog" is the synomyn of "journal" becaue they both (in my eyes) mean the exact same thing.
I just started blogging.. and i love it! its fun reading other peoples.. and being able to write whatever is on my mind.
