do you support them?
when they leave their family to go fight for us
when they do what they think is right because its what they were told to do
when they see a brother die
when they themselves are either shot or dying
they believe in what they are over there fighting for and even though we may not agree we do need to support them and what they do for us
when a family looses a soldier are you angry at the government or do you honor that soldier for doing what he loved... i guarentee you that the government and their fellow soldiers are honoring their life.
so you do not have to support the president or the reason we are over there but PLEASE support the troops.... they need us!

Maybe you are right... But the troops can all do an effort to stop this, too. (I know it's so un-realistic, it's even dream-like, but I still say it) An effort of all soldiers, united under only one goal... Now that's utopia. Though, it might work...
I do support the troops. All of the people I know who joined the military, didn't join because they wanted to fight in the current war. They joined for something much bigger than that. They joined to protect their country from whatever threat that came. They joined to protect their families and support their families.
My sister has a friend who was trained to go to war and he volunteer to be a troop in Iraq, the reason why is that he rather go then someone who has a family and children.I think if the troop want to go to war to fight for our country then the family show remember them as a hero and that is what he wanted to do.
