Uganda for years, have gone to war against one another. The Lords Resistance Army, have been a huge part of that. Kidnapping and basically making kids kill their own people. This war like so many others, went on for no good reason, and as of now there is a bit of peace with the LRA and there has been for about 6 months. Through the time, a lot of females were still being captured, raped and killed, while others were being hurt as well. In the process of investigation, it was found out that police had some to do with what was going on with all of that.
Anyways, some time last year, there was talk about cutting down a 3rd of what's left of Kampalas rain forest, to grow sugarcane. This was an idea by asians. Some how the Indians that are there, also have some kind of involvement in it. In the past month or two, there has been a lot of rioting, asians and indians have basically been getting killed off, one by one. The news that I have read on google, does not show all that is going on there in Kampala. I have a source there, and well, someone is getting hurt basically everyday. It's like the asians and indians are being held captive in their homes or wherever they are staying, if they go out then there is probably a huge chance of them getting hurt or killed, and the way the killing is happening, is by stoning people.
Ugandans in those areas have gone through so much in the past years, and now they are under pressure to loosing a large part of their forest. If there is anyone on this site who is connected in a high type of position with someone there, tell them to try to talk it out with whoever is in charge. It's just a stupid cycle there that goes on and on, whether it's this or that, someone seems to have to get killed, there was enough killing in Darfur, Africa as a whole needs to stop.....these people to me are acting just as bad as the lords resistance, because they are not thinking, they are just killing as many as they can, and a lot of the people they are hurting are not even involved, like for the Hindu Temple for instance, blah....I wish I had the power in my hands to stop that crap.
these, are just some of my thoughts on something bad in this world that really needs to be stopped.
Good thing I have heard though....the teens on the streets in Kampala, are finally able to go to school for free there, that is a very huge thing when so many of those children have no homes or families.

It's so difficult to hear about atrocities in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Because there's no lucrative business deals to be made in Uganda, no one will do anything about.
It is truly heart-wrenching.
