UGGH = FINALS
I have my American Government final at noon today, and what am I doing... READING THE ENTIRE... DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE... it is not even going to be on the final, but I see it as doing an American civic duty, I mean they want us to know about American Government, ok, then, WHY NOT read the Declaration of Independence, why leave this out of the final, hmm, oh well, sometimes we must step up on our own as Americans and do stuff on our own, after all we live in the "Land of the free"!!!
I leave you with this excerpt from the Declaration of Independence...
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.
That was only a small chunk of a much larger and greater peice of work!



Ugghhh. I have my US Government AP test next Tuesday. I need to study for that too. :(
