My school found some schollarships for me. I recieved $1500 to help offset the $3458 I was shy. Now I will be paying $35 a month but it is a small price to pay to get closer to my dreams.I am so happy I am crying! God truly answered my prayers here!
I put a temporary tattoo on my arm of the chinese symbol "dream" When I look down at it my hope is becoming a reality.
This school and I have been working to keep me in school. I cannot think of a better place to be right now. I look around the world and see all these people with a lost look in their eyes because they do not yet have the knowledge and belief in themselves that we all possess. That candle is in all of us. We just have to have someone show us how to light it.
Freedom Writers was a prime example of this. Those kids just needed someone to tell them "yes you can do this" The Ron Clark story was another who lit the candle in children the world gave up on.
When you walk out of your door today and head to class or to work be extra nice to people. We are all in this journey together. You never know anyone's plight in life.
School is still in my future!

I am so happy for you to have found a way to stay in school. It is such a great thing. Some don't understand the necessity of continuing your education and you do and one day those people will realize it. I hope you are successful in all your endeavors in school. I wish you the best of luck.
Congratulations! Sometimes it is so hard to find scholarships these days. It's crazy.
