Let me say this first of all, why does everyone care who someone loves, gay or straight? Everyone seems to nosey for their own good, when it isn't even good. Let someone live their life.
I honestly do not believe Mark has been cured, if that is what you want to call it. I honestly do not believe you can not be changed from gay to straight. I believe that you are born gay or straight. You are attracted to whoever you want to be attracted to.
Do you think that "God" can "cure" people of their homosexuality?
I believe that God loves us all for who we really are. He doesn't judge us for we are. Like Brittany Ann said "Let them deal with Judgement Day..", if that is true, God will decide who get to go to hell or heaven. I believe that God can make miracles happen. Save us from a wrong thing that we did, being gay is not a wrong thing. I have plenty of friends who are gay. I do not look at them any differently. All in all, God can not "cure" anyone from their sexual orientation.
Are these camps a good or bad thing?
These camps are just as bad as the concentration camps during the Holocaust. You should love everyone just the way they are. Killing someone is just as bad as changing who they are because you do not like the way they are. If you can not handle the way people are then maybe you should be the one who is dead. Everyone is very different from one another. If we were all the same then everyone would be gay.... All males or all females, males and females are different. If we were the same then there would only one gender, resulting into homosexuality. The camps are a waste of space, time and money. What is the point? If someone is truly gay, they will be gay forever. No one can change that in them no matter what. How is the housing arranged in these camps? Most camps you sleep with the same gender. At this camp it would be pointless to have the genders separated....
I think I have answered the question I best truly no how too. I will end on this note: Gays will always be gay... be who you are and do not let anyone have a right to change who you are.
I agree and then disagree. I do not believe you are born gay. There is not gene to say that you are gay or not. You end up like who you choose to like.
