Why Hillary is the best canidate for the presidency

SeanDonnelly's picture

I just wanted to state my stance on the presidential race. I think that Hillary Clinton is the better choice by far, Clinton expresses her views very strong and stands up for what she believes in. Clinton stands to take action on the things that effect us right now, not the things that we can make better or change long down the road. Clinton has tons of experience. Clinton stands for the people has a whole. In my opinion Obama is more concerned about being the first African American President then what the people of the United States want and what will make this country better. Hillary also has a very impressive military record. I think that Hillary will be a deciding factor about making this a better country. I dont really agree with the National Healthcare System but im on the fence with that one, it can be both a good thing and a bad thing. It all depends on how you are looking at it. I do not choose the person i want to vote for by anything other than what they show me. I do not declare myself Liberal, conservative, democratic, ect.. My decision was based on what they have shown me in the race to be president and their past . . . . .

If you disagree please inform me of why :) i like hearing both sides thank you

ok...i agree with you that hilary is a strong speaker and she makes good promises. what i can't get past are her views on abortion. i am prolife and don't believe that abortion in any case is good. another thing i don't like is that the next president could be a woman. don't think i'm not for woman's rights, but it's a fact that women can be emotionally unstable. she might seem strong, but when she didn't win the popular vote in one state, she cried. my last concern is that she's a clinton. we had a clinton in office before and look what he did! don't think that the first lady or first man (?), in this case, won't have any influence over the president.

is that Hillary is not the person for the job, but seriously? "it's a fact that women can be emotionally unstable?" Please. Men can be too. It's as much a fact as your statement about women. That is not a valid reason to keep her out of office.

Except he is talking about a biological process that pumps hormones making women unstable in ADDITION to the normal stress.

Sorry, I'm just not going to buy the argument that PMS makes someone unfit for any job. Studies have also shown that those same hormones have the effect of performance enhancing drugs, so maybe the argument should be that PMS makes us better equipped than men? But I'm not going to make that argument, because it is pointless. Judge a person on their actual merits or lack thereof, not on their sex.

I dont think pms or anything of a personal matter makes someone capable or non-capable of being the president i just look for what they stand for and if i think they can make a difference

First of all the crying was really all part of her campaign to show her "soft" side, it was all for show anyone can see that. Second yes women do have emotions but that doesn't mean that that will affect every thing they do plus the president has advisers that will help. Third of all Clinton might have done something immoral or whatever you want to call it, but he did great things for this country such as, when he was president we where paying off our national debt, and I think that this is a great thing.

To be completely honest I don't support Hillary but it’s not because her sex or the person she is married to but because I disagree with her proposals, I had to do a project and I got to study some of the candidates, I personally prefer Obama because of his proposals

1) What exactly does she believe in?

2) What action does she plan to take on what?

3) What does she have experience in?

4) What military record?

5) Did you know that we have one of the best healthcare systems in the world? Sure, it's not perfect, but it will cost us more to nationalize healthcare to get less than what we do now, just to give health care to bums who aren't willing to work.

I'm with you on that one (What Military record?)

What service has she done this nation?

I will not vote for Clinton because:
She supports NCLB.
She supports stricter gun laws, a direct violation of the second amendment.
She is overly soft on immigration policy.
She supports an increase in the minimum wage.
She supports "Civil Unions" and not "Marriage."
She supports Socialized Medicine (call it what it is).

Im sorry she didnt serve in any armed forces . . The founding fathers of this country knew that we would have to make changes and therfore made it an option and avaliable to change the constitution . . . Immigration is at the bottom of my list its something that can be solved later down the road and is something that doesnt need to be dealt with this second . . .Im gay and i want gay marriage A LOT! but its something that doesnt really decide the fact of my president, but she is not against gay marriage so its not that bad....

I said that i was on the fence when it came to the healthcare . . . Some of the "bums" have no choice they are stuck in the situation and need a little help to get out. . . yea there are bums out there that dont care and are looking for a free ride, I agree with almost everything clinton has proposed except the healthcare system i barely agree with any of obamas. . . Truthfully im picking the lesser of the 2 evils so to speak, my canidate dropped out

Sorry. I said "bums who aren't willing to work." I know that there are some people who need help getting on their feet, but they're actually willing to try. I was talking about the freeloaders.

What has Senator Obama said to make you think that this is just all about race for him? I think he has said much to the contrary.

I find that when it comes to politics, I am VERY skeptical and paranoid and untrusting of the presidential candidates.

Usually, during their campaign, they promise all these wonderful things. They promise to make all these great changes. And then what do they do as soon as they get into the white house? Whatever they damn well please. and then in the middle of their second year as president, people start to get impatient.

People: Hey um, Mr. President... You know that health care plan you promised to give us? Well yeah, we've just been wondering... when are ya gonna do that cuz we've been waiting a while now, and you still haven't done a damned thing except blow up other countries... so yeah. Could you maybe work on other issues now? Like, I dunno, maybe... stuff that has to do with your OWN COUNTRY!!!

This is just an example of course. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone.

All I'm saying is that it's gonna be really hard for me to vote. I wish there were better candidates for my very first voting experience, but whatever. It's gonna be tough though.

in opinon Hillary is the right choise for america, but the people in the government don't think so that's why she lost because i know the people wanted her! She has great views and expreses well. At the same time just like her husband if Hillary had taken the power she would have brought us back and helped us get out of hte misery that Bush put us in!
