So today i was reading the daily headlines. There was the usual nonsense Bush sending troops to guard border, How to live a healthier lifestyle, what car gets the best gas mileage. Suddenly something caught my eye, a high school student was arrested.
In the big city schools this is not an unusual event. Most of the inner-city schools come equipped with their own police officers. Kids don't usually get arrested in school in these neck of the woods. So i read the article and it struck me as being quite humorous!
The boy was arrested because he went online and found a picture of his principal. He then found a Captain Morgan cartoon, and placed the picture of the principal on Captain Morgan. The cartoon showed the "Principal" groping a barley dressed woman. After being printed and posted on the school bulletin board the boy was arrested. The school checked the boys internet history and it showed him on the two websites. He denies everything.
The teenager is now faced with a hefty fine and even possible jail time! What happened to giving kids detention, or suspension? Is calling in the cops for that REALLY necessary? I understand how disrespectful kids can be these days, but come on!

If that was the worst thing that happened to our high school principal, he'd be a very happy man.
That is crazy! I read an article about giving "spankings" instead of shoving people in jail, and I fully agree with that idea!

Where can I find videos of that?!
Res ipsa loquitur.
memor mori, mahalo.
Yeah this was not even something bad like a bomb scare or bringing a gun to school! Save the bad punishments for something that really requires one!
Did they really have to go that far? Just give him Sat. school
I don't even think they know what sat. school is here. In the larger cities we had it but i have not even heard of that here. Psh
