Why is that people do not know how to use their manners? I have came across to many people who do not know how to use manners. I just don't understand it at all. It is so rare for someone to say Thank You, I get some sort of pleasure when someone does say Thank You. I say thank you, please, your welcome and my favorite bless you. I say bless you to everyone who sneezes, in public or not. When I am with people, they don't like it. I am sorry I am going to say bless you to who ever sneezes. I was raised in that fashion and I would expect you to do the same.
In junior year of high school, in Physics class, there was a boy who sneezed at least once in every class. I said bless you every time, every single time, until he didn't want to say Thank You anymore. One class he sneezed I said bless you, he is either to lazy to say thank you or is deaf, but I went off. I said "Are you going deaf?" He said no. I said "Are you that lazy?" and he said no. I just didn't understand. I told him he better raise his kids to have manners...
Today, a held the door open for a guy who was at least 50 feet behind. It took at least 30 seconds for him to come to the door. I was already late to class, but I have manners and decided to hold the door for him. He couldn't even say thank you!!! It really made me angry, ARGH!
At work when I help someone find something and they don't say thank you, that also makes me angry. I just don't understand. It doesn't take very much to say Thank You, two words, two syllables, 8 letters.

I can understand your need to have them use manners. I was raised to have manners myself. It irritates me to no end when people don't actually say thank you. However, I'm in a different culture now, and that is considered an unfriendly way to be around someone. It is considered stiff and put forth the image that you don't want them to be your friend.
What then do you define as right?
Also, how is "salud" for when you sneeze? It means roughly "good health" in Spanish. It is a blessing, in a way, just one with a more secular sound to it.
