Today I was listening to the radio and they were talking about the death of Tiger Wood's father. The host gave his condolences for Tiger and then said that he knew that Tiger and his father were very close so he must be going through a hard time. I think that this radio show host has no right to act like he knew Tiger and his father. Just because you watch someone on TV and see them with their father that doesn't mean you know the relationship between the two.
I understand that celebrities put themselves in the spot light so we have a right to feel bad when one of them dies, but their family is none of our business.

This is their life, why does our society feel the constant need to put our noses in other peoples business. We find it entertaining, I know. I will have to admit that I love to watch those shows that tell about celebrities and the stupid things they do, but whenever I see some reporter trying to be the first one to get a picture of Brittney Spears baby, I feel disgusted.
We as humans need to have a little more respect for our fellow human beings. Celebrities put themselves in this situation, they know that they will be constantly scrutinized, but their families we need to leave alone.

I agree with you. I hate it when people feel bad like they know the person. We only see what celebs want us to see. Who knows what the person is like behind closed doors.

i dont really agree...i think everyone (celebrity or not) needs to be consoled or told its ok by people they love and also people who are just being nice. i'm sure uve given condolences to people whom you hardly knew or werent very close to you. People feel that because they read about and watch celebrities, they know them. Which is understandable because celebrities to want to have that relationship with fans, well most do, because otherwise they would have no career.
I agree that we shouldn't act like we know whats going on, but have a heart I'm sure Tiger is going through a tough time if his father died.
I understand that he is going through a hard time. I think that anyone who has lost their father would be going through a very difficult time, and that is why I think that we should not be making comments about how we know his father and that he was a great person. Only people that have really met him should be able to make that kind of comment.
