Back in the day nursing use to be a feild dominated by females. Now it still has more females in that feild, but mor and more males are getting into that occupation. As for me, I want to become an Anesthetist Nurse. An Anesthetsist nurse makes a lot of money but requires a lot of hard work. So my question to everyone is do you think that nursing is a feild just for women or do men have a chance too and why?
Is Nursing The Thing

i say good men
It used to be that men were supposed to be doctors, because it was a more prominent job, but now it is becoming more obvious how much work nurses really have to do. When I was in the hospital, the nurses were the ones who spent the most time with me and knew me the most. If I needed something or had a question, they were always able to help me out, whereas the surgeon had to deal with a lot of patients so I only say him for a few minutes every day. Also, more women are becoming doctors. The lines, while they may still be there (my doctor was a man and most of my nurses were women,) they are becoming blurred. Nurses get more respect and are seen as professionals rather than just slightly more capable orderlies.
